Footprint is a collaboration project between PaperCut Studios and Sotis Design which addresses the issue of a person's imprint on the environment. Using a unique animation style, Footprint follows a man from birth and the impact he leaves behind him on his journey. The message of a greener lifestyle is shown by the decisions man makes that effect the environment in a positive or negative way. Hand-drawn environments are colored and animated to give a super stylized look that flows with concept of Footprint.
Papercut teamed up with the Semi-Sitrus crew for the complete re-imagining of the popular snowboarding group. We sat down with the Semi-Sitrus leader and hammered out concept drawings, style frames and montage edits that captured the look and feel of the boarding season. PaperCut filmed over 12 hours of High-Def footage that was cut down into a trailer and used as a promotional tool for sponsors of the group. It was PaperCut's first snowboarding flick and first time shooting while snowboarding but it ended up being a blast.

With pictures of smiling children and an insightful look into their impoverished lives, Tierra Santa raises awareness to the needs of these young people who were taken in from the streets. 100% of the donations to the project went directly to the home to help support the ever growing demand for living conditions.
